Citrus salad with ginger

 
Feel Good Food

                                 

 
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 grapefruit, peeled
  • 3 tangerines or Mandarin oranges, peeled
  • 4 oranges, peeled
  • 3 tbsp dried cherries
  • 1-2 tbsp Manuka honey
  • Half tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground allspice
  • 16 oz of plain, organic yogurt
  • 4 tbsp crystallized ginger, chopped
 
Cut the grapefruit, tangerines
 
 (Mandarins), oranges into 1
 
inch pieces. Do this over a
 
bowl so that you can catch all
 
of the juice. Add the cherries,
 
 honey, cinnamon and allspice.
 
You can eat this immediately
 
or refrigerate to let the flavors
 
marinate. Mix the yogurt and
 
crystallized ginger in a separate
 
bowl. Serve the fruit salad with
 
a dollop of ginger yogurt.
