Daily Aha! w/Dr. Oz

Daily Aha!
Acting out happy movements, such as skipping and jumping, can actually make you feel happier.
Conversely, sad body movements, like slouching, can bum you out. A recent study found that you don’t even need to do these movements yourself to feel the effects. Simply observing someone else making the motions, or silently imagining them can be enough to trigger feelings in either direction. For an instant bump in mood, sit up straight or, better yet, jump up and down. If you’re stuck in a meeting or in the car, imagine yourself busting out your favorite dance moves.
