Your brain is a complex organ that requires a lot of oxygen and nutrients, which is why so much of your blood has to travel the express route from your heart up to your noggin. That’s a pretty good reason to maintain your cardiovascular fitness. In order to keep your blood pathways healthy and promote new brain-cell growth, go easy on the sugar and saturated fat and do some form of aerobic exercise three times a week. Your brain will thank you for it (and the rest of you will, too).
