I love homemade ice cream and sorbet so much that when I had the chance to work on the sorbet story in the July/August issue of Vegetarian Times, I blew my savings on a super-fancy, self-refrigerating ice-cream maker. Ever since, I have been working my way through the creamy treats in the cookbooks I own and on VT's website. And the VT offerings have been some of the best.
