Lighten Up With 5 Skinny Spring Cocktails

Spring is here! The weather is warmer and it’s time to sit back and relax with friends and family. However, happy hours can do serious damage to our waistline. An average Margarita can easily pack on more calories than a cheeseburger. But before you swear off your favorite summer drinks, know that there are healthier ways to prepare your favorite drinks — you just have to put traditional cocktail recipes on a diet. 2 oz. SKYY Infusions Coconut
2 oz. SKYY Infusions Pineapple
2 oz. Club soda
Splash of pineapple juice
Squeeze of lemon
Mix in a shaker and pour over ice in a tall glass; garnish with sliced pineapple.
 
Skinny Bloody Mary 117 calories

1 1/2 ounces vodka
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 ounces V8 light
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Dash of salt and pepper
Celery stalk & lime for garnish
A few drops of hot sauce (optional)
Combine all ingredients and serve over ice.

1 ounce white rum
10 mint leaves
4 sliced strawberries
4 lime slices (1/2 of lime)
1 tsp agave syrup
ice
Combine all ingredients, serve over ice.

4 sliced oranges
1 pound of grapes, halved
3 bottles white wine
1 can diet lemon-lime soda
1 can club soda
Combine all ingredients in to a large pitcher. Chill. Serves 16 at 173 calories per serving.
 
Skinny Pear Margarita 90 calories

1 ounce tequila
1/2 ounce of peach nectar
few squeezes of fresh lime juice
citrus zest for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and pour into martini glass glass then garnish with lime.
