Daily Aha! w/ Dr. Oz

Daily Aha!
The brain responds to sugar the way it does to cocaine.
Like cocaine, sugar boosts the levels of pleasure molecules in your brain, including serotonin and dopamine, which feels good—at first. Over time, your brain adapts to the higher levels of those neurotransmitters, and you need more to feel the same effects. Sugar crash? You betcha. And what’s more, a sugar habit is big-time bad news for your skin.
