Snacking

Snack on whole fruit, not juice, to get optimal nutrients.

Tempting as it may seem, leave that carton of OJ on the grocery store shelf. Whole fruit is significantly healthier than juice. While both have lots of natural sugar, biting into an apple or orange provides tons of antioxidants and fiber that are lost in the juicing process. Plus, many juices on the market (even those touted as “100 percent juice”) are mixed with chemicals, preservatives, and other unnatural substances. Stick to whole fruit for the most nutritional benefits
