Daily Aha! w/ Dr. Oz

Daily Aha!
You should experience the highest amount of vaginal discharge right around the time you ovulate.
Daily discharge is one of the unique joys of womanhood, and it’s tied to where you are in your cycle. If you menstruate, you’ll usually start to produce a mucous-y discharge the week after your period. The amount of discharge increases right at ovulation, when your estrogen levels spike. It might look like you blew your nose in your underpants. (Kinda gross, but normal.) Then, as your estrogen levels go down and progesterone levels rise, your vagina cleans itself, shedding epithelial cells from the vaginal walls and preparing for the next go-round.
