Studies show....
Studies have shown that drinking 1 - 2 glasses of water prior to a meal does in fact help you shed those unwanted pounds of fat. The water acts as an appetite suppressant, and making you feel more full. The study conducted in 2010, showed that after 12 weeks, people that drank 2, 8 ounce glasses of water prior to every meal lost an average of about 40% more than test subjects that didn't. Water also has the added bonus of keeping you hydrated, which in turn makes your body healthier and more efficient. So if you are having trouble with portioning meals, go ahead and fill up a few glasses of water!
