Daily Aha! w/ Dr. Oz

Daily Aha!
Eating at odd hours of the day messes with your metabolism.
You’re probably familiar with your circadian clock, the natural rhythm in your body that dictates when you get sleepy and when you wake up. Well, your body has a food clock, too, which determines when it’s mealtime and gets your metabolism revving. If you eat outside of this natural rhythm—if you’re jet-lagged, working the graveyard shift, or if you indulge in late-night snacking—you can reset that clock, upsetting metabolic activity and confusing your meal schedule. Being mindful about what, when and how much you eat (and taking time to savor the flavor!) will help you keep trim and feel great about your body
