PUMPKIN

A to Z - Medicinal Properties of Ingredients
PUMPKIN - Carve your pumpkins and eat 'em too..
Did you know your jack o'lantern is a superfood?

Pumpkin is extremely high in fiber and low in calories. It packs an abundance of disease-fighting nutrients, including potassium, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and vitamins C and E. Pumpkin contains one of the richest supplies of bioavailable carotenoids kn...own to man. Carotenoids have been shown to decrease the risk of various cancers, including those of the lung, colon, bladder, cervical, breast, and skin.

Consider carving your pumpkin a couple hours before dark then bring it in for cooking or blending.

We recommend this delicious pumpkin smoothie for dessert tonight..
