While it’s true that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, many people still struggle with what to eat to fuel their body or just ignore breakfast altogether. The right breakfast can literally shape your day, so try some of these options to discover what works for you.
- Smoothies: Try a green smoothie or banana protein smoothie with your choice of greens, fresh or frozen fruit, plenty of nut butter and your choice of superfood like flax, chia seeds or maca then blend and enjoy. You’ll be satisfied until lunchtime.
- Green Juice: For those who prefer a lighter breakfast, juice is a great option. Try a combination of greens and fruit such as spinach, green apple, celery, cucumber and lemon. Juicing facilitates the absorption nutrients and enzymes that aren’t fully available when the fruits and vegetables are eaten whole.
- Fresh Fruit: Another light breakfast option, fresh fruit can help wake up the digestive system. If you need a little protein, try an apple with nut butter.
