L♡VE Your Body with Beets!

They're a nutrition & delicious superfood, they're absolutely beautiful in color, adding an appetizing splash to any dish, so what's not to love? Juice them, roast them in a veggie mix, add them to salads, or enjoy cold ~ slice and top with a little hummus!

You may have seen them fresh-out-of-the-ground at your local farmers market or cooked and ready to go in the refrigerator section of the supermarket! Either way, they're easy to prepare and great to toss in just about anything. The best part? These root vegetables contains loads of good for you nutrient and vitamins!
Beets can improve your cardiovascular health and lower cholesterol. Medical studies have also shown that including beets in your diet helps protect a body against heart disease <3 Do your heart a favor, will you? They also pack quite a punch of needed nutrients like potassium, magnesium, fiber, iron and vitamins A,C and B6-- which is responsible for your metabolism of amino acids and lipids!

The quickest, easiest way to prepare this superfood? Boil or bake for 45 minutes, then rinse in cold water for the skin to peel. Keep in the fridge for an easy salad addition, or for an anytime snack :)
