THE HOME STRETCH

The sun's out and the weather's beautiful, so you go out for a run or bike ride. Then BAM! Tight hips, hamstrings and lower back ... ouch! Chances are, whether you're a seasoned pro or a newbie, you're going to struggle with a few sore muscles.

Counteract these workouts and loosen up those gams with a little yoga—even a little can go a long way!
For Runners: Wide-Legged Forward Bend. This pose will open up your hamstrings and stretch your shoulders and chest. Take a very wide-legged stance and point your toes inward just a tad. With a straight back, hinge at the hips and hang forward. Let your arms go, relax and breathe.
