Daily Aha! w/ Dr. Oz

Daily Aha!
Your body's internal thermostat cools you down at bedtime and warms you up before you rise in the morning.
Cooling your body down at night makes you sleepy. Our circadian rhythms—that is, our biological clocks—cause our body temperature to drop very slightly right when we go to bed. It gets lower and lower as we continue to sleep, until about two hours before we wake up, when it rises again. Keeping your room cool supports that internal thermostat. But avoid extremes on either end—super hot and frigid temps both can disrupt beauty rest.
