PB & J Granola

You want to spend your weekends supporting local businesses at a farmers market. But you also want to sit on your couch binge watching Ray Donovan.
Take the higher middle ground with Young’s new e-shop, an extension of the brand’s Hester Street Fair options.
After wowing fair foodies with her fried green tomatoes, chef Jessica Young was inundated with recipe requests, so she decided to package the mix and sell it online. It’s in good gluten-free, vegan company. Also on offer: PB&J granola, pancake and cornbread mixes, pickled okra and baby cucumbers, and Amish chow chow (a tangy combo of Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, green tomatoes, green beans, and bell peppers).
The products, all lovingly crafted from organic, locally sourced ingredients, come in seemingly obligatory — and adorable — mason jars. And the site’s blog offers cooking suggestions, along with pretty photos and helpful videos.
Should you care to lazily watch them on your couch.

Available at youngsnyc.com, $5-$13.
